Borough is situated in the South-side area of Edinburgh in the heart of the city’s University Quarter, and only a 15 minute stroll from the famous Edinburgh Castle Prince’s Street and Waverley Station.

If arriving in Edinburgh by plane or by train, Borough is a 20 minute taxi journey from Edinburgh Airport, and a mere ten minutes from either Haymarket or Waverley Station.

There is also a regular bus service which departs from outside the main terminal at Edinburgh and takes approximately 15-20 minutes and drops off outside Waverley Station in the city centre.

There is unfortunately no formal car-parking space for guests and residents at Borough, but there is available parking behind the hotel.

We are naturally happy to organise taxis, or larger vehicles if you are in a party, to wherever you wish to travel. There is also the regular local bus service (number 42), which you can get from directly outside Borough, and for 80p will take you to the city centre in approximately 10 minutes.
